I Spy Cinco de Mayo Free Printable

On May 5th for many Americans, Cinco de Mayo means enjoying Mexican food and a few Mexican themed drinks. But really the day commemorates the Mexican army’s victory over the French forces of Napoleon III on May 5, 1862. A victory that was very unlikely, so it is indeed a day of celebration. That is why there is usually a party or some kind of festivity happening on this May day.

So Moms, Dads and the adults in between can celebrate with some margaritas while we feed the kids tacos and give them some fun Cinco de Mayo activities to do (like this I Spy Cinco de Mayo sheet).  :)

The I Spy worksheet consists of 14 different Cinco de Mayo objects! Tacos, sombreros, mustaches, peppers, the Mexican flag, and more.  This activity shows the number of objects that are on the sheet, so your little one knows exactly what to look for and how many.

I made this I Spy sheet in color since this holiday is so festive and beautiful. I initially started it out making it black & white, but it almost felt wrong doing so, since this day is such a colorful one. So, all in all this is a fun, stimulating and affordable Cinco de Mayo activity for home or in the classroom. Great for kids of many ages.

I’ve worked with many different hosting companies in my career and I can’t tell you the hours I spent on the phone trying to adjust something that should have taken me 2 mins but ended up taking an hour.
