Ode to the cities we love! Whether we’ve visited them or just simply dreamt of them, bring such a nostalgic feel. A few  years ago I visited Europe and saw some of these famous landmarks and the feeling it gave me to see such beauty is one that stayed with me forever. I first came up with the idea of these city pieces by brainstorming how to decorate my dining room. Personally, I wanted to sit at the table, eat with the ones I love, and glance at artwork that stirred feelings of self-identity, happiness and recollection. Remembering my traveling days and that "this is quite a big beautiful world" feeling when I first saw those breathtaking sights. This set is authentic with a vintage feel. I gave the cities a rustic sketchy-like feel to give it more of a raw edge to the pieces. I also plan to do this in a sepia tone, so keep a look out for that!
