Tools tools tools! Every kid I’ve ever met seems to be fascinated by tools. I can be hanging curtain rods or a picture on the wall and my kids want to “help” with anything related to tools. They spend hours pretending to screw things that need to be fixed, paint the walls with a dry paint brush, nail holes, or measure any random thing.
They love getting to work with any tool they can get their hands on. And there aren’t many because tools can be pretty dangerous in little one’s hands. So, yep they have their very own pretend tool sets. But, because of their love for tools, I have decided to make a tool matching game for kids!
All about our Tool Shadow Matching Game:
What’s the goal of this game? For kids to cut out and match up the tools to the shadows on the pegboard. This is a fun, free, and easy activity for kids which teaches them about shapes, matching and spatial recognization. In addition to that, you can help them learn the names of each tool. So, really you can’t go wrong with this game! It’s a great educational game and also fun at the same time!
