Beach Ball Craft Printable for Preschoolers

Celebrate the summer months with our beach ball craft! This summer craft is a perfect activity for preschoolers. Use it in the classroom as an end of the year activity or for summer camp down time. A simple and low prep activity for younger children.

How to use the beach ball craft

This beach ball craft is a perfect one to use as an art project for preschool or kindergarten students.

The craft includes 2 pages:

• Page 1 includes of the beach ball pieces to trace, color and cut out.
• Page 2 consists of a beach ball template to paste or glue the beach pall pieces to.

Steps:

1. Trace the color names in each beach ball piece.
2. Color each beach ball piece with the assigned color.
3. With rounded tip scissors, cut out the beach ball pieces.
4. Put together the beach ball by gluing each piece to the beach ball template provided. Use the lines as a guide on where to put each piece.

This beach ball craft is chock full of educational skills:

• Practice writing letters by tracing the letters of each color.
• Color recognition – each beach ball piece states a color. Find that color and color the beach ball pieces.
• Practice those fine motor skills by coloring, tracing and cutting out the beach ball pieces.
• Get creative and grab some crayons, markers, color pencils or even paint sticks and color away!
