christmas countdown printable coloring calendar

When you’re a child, counting down to Christmas is one of the most exciting things to do in the month of December. Each day they get closer and closer to finding out what exactly will be under the Christmas tree. Is it everything they hoped for? Mark each day as it passes with our fun and free Christmas Countdown Printable.

Get creative and grab some crayons and color in the December days and countdown how many days until Christmas.

What is different about this Christmas Calendar?

What is different about our Countdown to Christmas printable? Our Christmas printable acts as a coloring page! Mark each day by coloring the little Christmas item! Each day is an item that is found or is associated with the Christmas season.

As your kids countdown the number of days until Christmas, they’ll also be adding colors to the page by coloring in each Christmas item.

Start on December 1st and make your way to Christmas Eve with our Christmas Countdown coloring page!

Use this printable countdown coloring page as holiday decorations

Hang your countdown printable on the fridge to let the whole family know that December 25th is coming! I personally love seeing the colors my kids choose when coloring in each Christmas item.

You can also stick this printable in a picture frame (without the glass), and display it on the fireplace mantel or a table for some added holiday cheer. Color each Christmas item as you mark the days passed! There is no wrong way to display this!

Fill this holiday season with fun Christmas traditions. My daughter always loves coming downstairs each morning and marking each day on our Christmas Calendar. One more day closer to Christmas! Bring on the holiday magic!

What supplies will you need for the Christmas Countdown Printable?

Not much! Some regular printer paper (letter size) and then grab some crayons, markers or colored pencils! Really, that’s it! It’s up to you if you want to get a bit fancier.

If you want to make this paper countdown last, print on cardstock or a thicker paper.

What’s included in the Letter From Santa Bundle?

Our Mail From Santa Bundle includes 3 different “From Santa” printables. These Letter From Santa printables are new Mrs. Merry Shop printables, and the bundle is only $5.00. Start making memories today with our mail from Santa!

1. Letter From Santa

This Santa printable is on a red, green and gold design featuring a beautiful letter from St. Nick himself, sent directly from the North Pole!* Use this letter as inspiration for your children to behave and continue to be on Santa’s Nice List. This printable has a vintage style background. Fold it to give it a more rustic look and feel.

The best part of this Santa Letter is that you can personalize it! Personalize the text in any way you see fit. Add your child’s name, and adjust the words so they include something personal about your family, your children and what they want for Christmas.

This personalized template is super easy, user-friendly, and can help bring the magic of Christmas to your home.

Another option is to print out the blank version of the Letter From Santa and hand write the letter from Santa.

TIP: Try writing with your non-dominant hand so your children don’t recognize your handwriting!

2. Nice Certificate

This Nice Certificate from Santa is his way of telling the children that they are on Santa’ s Nice List. This certificate prints on half of a 8.5 x 11 piece of paper. Laminate it to make it feel more official. Hang the Nice Certificate on the fridge as a reminder to your children to stay on the Nice List, and to be their best selves.

This certificate can be personalized as well. Customize the child’s name. If you have multiple children, adjust the name for each child and print! The options are endless with these certificates.

Again if you don’t want to personalize, just print out the blank certificate and handwrite your child’s name.

3. Printable Envelope from Santa

Our Santa envelope is directly from the North Pole! Stamped and approved by Santa’s elves themelves! It includes the North Pole postmark, postage and Santa’s return address. We even have an official North Pole stamp in the right hand corner. Feel free to include your own Christmas stamp to give it more authenticity.

This envelope printable is able to be personalized as well! Change the name and home address to match your own! Or if you don’t want to personalize, print out the blank version of the envelope and handwrite the name and address yourself.

Excite your children by using this envelope straight from the official North Pole post office.

*The Letter from Santa and other Santa mail are fun printables that can be used for play. The printables are not actually from the North Pole.

The letter, certificate and envelope all come with a blank version so your children can write their own letter on the template.
