Free Printable Build a Bunny Craft for Kids

Easter is right around the corner and that means spring too! Say goodbye to cold weather and hello to the warmth! Ahh! Finally! It feels like it’s winter 9 months of the year around here. Anyway, Easter or spring, the bunnies are out. So I decided to make a build-a-bunny craft for kids. This craft is an easy diy paper toy craft that is perfect for toddlers or preschoolers.

All about the Build a Bunny Craft:

This build a bunny craft features 2 pages. One page is the bunny without color so he can be colored, cut out and put together. If your kids aren’t a fan of coloring, there is a pre-colored version consisting of a tan colored little bunny. With either version simply cut out the pieces and put the little bunny together with a bit of glue/paste. It’s that simple and you have yourself a bunny for easter or simply spring! Hang the bunny on the fridge or give it away as a spring or Easter gift.

This is also a great craft for the classroom. Celebrate Spring (Starts March 20th) or Easter (April 12th) and print this out for your students to partake in a little Spring fun!

Go ahead and laminate

I recommend laminating all of our Build activities. Laminating gives this craft a bit more permanence. Kids can put the craft together over and over again without worrying about having to cut and color each time. I don’t use anything fancy, just a simple and easy laminator. This is the laminator I use and recommend, you literally just turn it on, it heats up, and you’re ready to start laminating anything everything!

I’m also a big fan of the self-sealing laminating pouches! They are super easy! You literally just place your printable in a letter size pouch, run it through the laminator and you have a sealed and long-lasting item!

Also, if you do choose to laminate, stick little self-adhesive velcro dots on the laminated pieces so your kids can attach and reattach easily. This eliminates the use of any messy glue!
