Cute valentine’s day cards with a personal message
As a Mom I always try to make sure my kiddos add a personal touch to the valentines they give to their friends. My oldest loves baking and cooking. She loves food in general, so I initially put these together so my food-loving daughter could give some of her besties a food inspired card.
Both of my daughters ended up being big fans of these cards and both have decided to use them this year as classroom valentines.
Whether your children are foodies or they’re just looking for a more unique valentine, these will for sure be a hit!
Include a gift – tape a treat to your valentines cards
Its always extra fun (and tasty) to include a sweet treat with a valentine! Grab a bag of lollipops and some scotch tape to tape a lollipop on the back of each valentine.
If you don’t want to give candy, tape a pencil or some crayons to the valentine and support creativity!
Whether you choose a candy sucker or craft you’ll sure to make someone smile with an added gift.
Include a dinosaurs or unicorns build-a printable
Want to include something extra special? Print out one of the build-a activities and include them with the valentine’s you’re giving to your friends & family.
Use our build-a unicorn if your friends are fans of unicorns.
Or print out a bunch of build-a-dinosaur printables for dino lovers.
Use the free printable valentines as a bookmark
My daughter loves to read, in the past she did something very creative and useful with her left over valentines that I thought was brilliant. She used them as bookmarks! She is always looking for bookmarks (she hates folding the corner of a page to mark her spot, saying it ruins the page). So, yes, she is a big bookmark fan.
So, what did she do? She kept a box of valentines in her nightstand to use as bookmarks for the books she read before bed. Not only is this useful but she loved seeing and reading the valentines before bed. She said it made her feel good…like a little pep talk before bed.
