- This holiday always falls on the Sunday after Labor Day.
- “A Song for Grandpa and Grandma” by Johnny Prill is the official song of Grandparents Day.
- Grandparents Day has only been around for about 40 years.
- The official flower of Grandparents Day is the Forget-Me-Not. These plants bear tiny blue flowers and have been used as a symbol of remembrance.
