Whether it’s Halloween and you want to get festive or you simply love build activities, this free skeleton kids craft is a lot of fun! Cut out the skeleton parts and all his accessories and have fun creating all the different gentlemen outfits. All of my kids love this Halloween kid activity and love making their skeleton look as silly and spooky as possible!
The skeleton template comes with 20 different skeleton gentleman accessories.
Simply cut out the pieces and put the skeleton together with a bit of glue/paste. Hang the skeleton on the fridge or give it away as a crafty gift. It’s that easy of a craft. This is also a great homeschooling craft for preschoolers, kindergarteners and first grade students. Not only does it promote practicing with scissors, it teaches kids how to work their brains creatively.
Size of craft once complete: When the skeleton is cut out he measures to be about 9″x 14″. When you layer on the hair, hat and shoes he will gain in height.
Below is what will be included in your download (see the bottom of the page for actual download instructions):

Need some craft supplies?
Amazon has always been my go-to for most of my office and craft supplies. If you print a lot of printables and spend time coloring, gluing and adding some extra jazz to them, our list of supplies can help!
I’ve split the list up into a basic list and a fancier list if you’re going to put a little more pizazz into your printables.
The basic list:
- White paper
- White cardstock
- Scissors (for adults)
- Scissors (for kids)
- Liquid Glue
- Glue stick
- Crayons
- Colored pencils
- Markers
- Fine-point Dry Erase Markers
- Scotch tape
- Double-sided tape
- Laminator
- Laminate Self-sealing Pouches (no machine needed)
- Velcro dots
- Hole Puncher
- Craft String
- Ribbon
- Ornament Hooks
The fancier list:
Go ahead and laminate
I recommend laminating all of our Build activities. Laminating gives this craft a bit more permanence. Kids can put the craft together over and over again without worrying about having to cut and color each time. I don’t use anything fancy, just a simple and easy laminator. This is the laminator I use and recommend, you literally just turn it on, it heats up, and you’re ready to start laminating anything everything!
I’m also a big fan of the self-sealing laminating pouches! They are super easy! You literally just place your printable in a letter size pouch, run it through the laminator and you have a sealed and long-lasting item!
Also, if you do choose to laminate, stick little self-adhesive velcro dots on the laminated pieces so your kids can attach and reattach easily. This eliminates the use of any messy glue!
