It’s finally 2021 and there are many reasons to celebrate this new year. Let’s begin 2021 with a fun and free calendar! Why is it so much fun, you ask? It’s not another boring calendar; it’s a calendar that is all about coloring!
This free printable calendar is a monthly calendar. It includes all 12 months of the year. One page for each month. Each month has a different top header displaying art/items related to that month. For example, January’s header includes a balloon, a New Year’s hat and Dr. Martin Luther King, all of which can be colored. Even go a step further and color in the name of month and days of the week.
The point of this is to have fun. Print the entire calendar out or print out one month at a time. Have your child color the top header for each month. Maybe you enjoy coloring (personally, as an adult, I’ve always found it very relaxing). Color it in yourself and make it your own!
Once the calendar is done being colored, hang on the fridge or punch holes in the calendar and put it in a 3-ring binder to make your very own planner.
Also, every calendar page includes the holidays for that given month! I see so many calendars out there that don’t include the holidays, and honestly that is one of the reasons why I look at calendars – to look at when a holiday is coming up and to plan around it!
Enjoy and happy new year! Let’s make it a good one.
Below is what is included in your free 2021 Coloring Calendar download (see the bottom of the page for actual download instructions):
Go ahead and laminate
I’m a big fan of laminating. Why? Laminating can give a calendar a bit more stability. Color your calendar, laminate it and then use a dry erase marker to plan out your month. I’m all about dry erase markers…if you use them, you can’t really mess anything up! I always find myself writing something out and not giving myself enough room, or writing something under the wrong day. If you use dry erase markers, it’s an easy fix. I recommend using a fine-point dry erase marker for these calendars.
I don’t use anything fancy or complex, just a simple and easy laminator. This is the laminator I use and recommend.
