How to create the Monster:
Our monster comes in a dotted line version. If your child is younger or maybe needs a more guidance on where to fold, print the dotted line version. Use the lines as a guide on where to fold.
1. Print out the blank or color version of the Folding Surprise Monster printable:
2. Fold the paper in half (if you chose to download the dotted line version, use the lines as a guide on where to fold).
3. Take the bottom edge of the top layer and fold it up to the top layer.
4. Turn the paper over, and fold the bottom up to the top (this concludes the folding) and you now have 3 creased folds.
5. Let’s see that monster in action! Grab the top and bottom of the paper and move the paper around to get your monster chomping motion!
Go ahead and laminate
I’m a big fan of laminating. Why? Laminating gives these Folding Surprise activities a bit more permanence. Simply put your Folding Surprise paper in a self- sealing laminate pouch and you can fold and unfold your surprise paper again and again without worrying that you will tear it.
Amazon has always been my go-to for most of my office and craft supplies. If you print a lot of printables and spend time coloring, gluing and adding some extra jazz to them, our list of supplies can help!
I’ve split the list up into a basic list and a fancier list if you’re going to put a little more pizazz into your printables.
