Hanukkah is a wonderful holiday and is one of the most recognizable, celebrated Jewish holidays around the world. It is one that brings families and friends together remembering the rededication of the second Jewish Temple in Jerusalem, Israel. Also known as the Festival of Lights, it is celebrated with the lighting of the menorah, traditional foods (like the sufganityot (jelly doughnuts), games and gifts.
